Boys Program
Our boys’ ballet program supports the development of strength, agility, flexibility, coordination, and physical control, while also fostering focus, self-discipline, and teamwork. Classes are taught in a positive, structured environment that encourages confidence and steady progress.
Class placement by age:
-
Ages 3–4: Creative Movement
-
Ages 5–6: Pre-Ballet
Around ages 7–8, boys begin working more independently and are invited to join our Boys Beginner class, where training focuses on building strong fundamentals in a supportive, boys-centered setting.
As they advance, boys may choose to continue in boys-only classes or join regular technique classes alongside girls. Intermediate and advanced teen boys often find Level 4 an appropriate starting point for refining technique, particularly at the barre.
Families are encouraged to contact our administrative team for guidance in selecting the most appropriate classes for their dancer’s age, experience, and goals.
Dress Code
Boys are required to wear white T-shirts with black leggings or tights. Students in Creative Movement and Boys Level 1 may wear black shorts or pants.
White socks and white ballet shoes are required. Hair must be kept out of the face and away from the eyes at all times.
