About Our Space
Located in the heart of Koreatown, Los Angeles, the Marat Daukayev School of Ballet offers hourly rental in our four spacious, light-filled studios, perfect for rehearsals, classes, auditions, private coaching and other creative projects.
Whether you’re looking for a professional dance space or a stunning filming location, our beautifully maintained studios provide a comfortable, yet inspiring environment for any project.
Amenities & Features
Each of our studios have been designed with dancers in mind as each is fitted with a sprung, marley floor, mirrors, and ballet barres. For details on each studio, please click a studio tab on the right.
Convenient parking is available in the Equitable Parking Garage. Rates vary, so please make sure you click the link above for more details. Street parking is also available on most days.
There are men’s and women’s restrooms available on our floor, as well as a small kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator.
Rental Guidlines
To ensure a professional and respectful environment for all renters:

- No street shoes will be allowed on bare marley flooring.
- Proper floor covering is the responsibility of the renter if any additional equipment (camera equipment/dollies) will be used.
- No food or drinks (except water) will be allowed inside studios. This includes everything from small lunch/snack breaks to larger catered events.
No catered events are allowed in any studio. - Pets are not allowed inside studios.
- At the end of each rental time, studios must be left exactly as they were at the start of the rental time. Renters must clean up trash by using receptacles provided. For larger clean ups, dumpsters may be found on the ground level of the Equitable building.
- Fees for missing or damaged equipment will be billed to renter’s credit card provided at signing of the rental agreement.

- Our smallest studio
- Dimensions: 32′ x 21′; 672 sq ft
- Marley covered sprung flooring
- Sound system with bluetooth capability
- Floor to ceiling windows on 1 side (with blinds)
- Full mirrors at the front of the room
- Bi-level ballet barres on 3 sides of the room
- Additional portable barres available, as needed
- Barre space for approximately 15 dancers

Rental Fee: $160.00/hr
Need extra space?
- Studios B and C feature a sliding wall between them that can be opened to create one large studio space.
- Helpful for extra large classes and can even be used as a small performance space.
- Size: 2,528 sq. ft.

All studio rentals require a signed rental agreement prior to use.
