ADVANCED LEVELS

and Conservatory Program

Upper Level Classes

In our advanced classes, students’ skills are further refined to meet the challenges of new and increasingly complex variations.

Dancers begin to develop their individual strengths and learn to use them to achieve artistic expression.

At these levels, many dancers may discover a path to more serious training and may even begin to contemplate a career in ballet.

CONSERVATORY PROGRAM
Pre-Professional Training

The Conservatory Program is our most advanced offering and is designed for students who are seriously committed to pursuing ballet at a professional level. This pre‑professional program is taught by Marat Daukayev and provides focused, in‑depth training in a small, supportive environment.

Program Overview

The Conservatory Program is a specialized class, meeting two mornings per week from 10:00am–12:00pm. Admission is selective and intended for dancers who demonstrate strong technical ability, maturity, and a clear dedication to classical ballet.

Students in Conservatory receive direct, individualized attention from Marat, allowing for detailed technical refinement, artistic coaching, and mentorship that goes beyond a standard advanced technique class.

Areas of Focus

While each class evolves based on the needs of the students, training commonly includes:

  • Advanced classical technique and refinement

  • Coaching on classical variations

  • Musicality, phrasing, and performance quality

  • Development of strength, stamina, and control

  • Artistry, style, and stage presence

Dress Code

Black leotards and black georgette skirts must be worn for every class.

We suggest classic-style leotards, such as a camisole, short sleeve, long or 3/4 sleeve, without embellishments. Backless leotards are not permitted in partnering classes.

Tights are required for all ballet classes. Ballet tights and shoes should match and may be worn in traditional pink or in tones that best match the dancer’s skin tone, according to personal preference.

Hair must be worn up in a bun and securely fastened up and away from the face and neck.

  • Highly motivated and technically advanced

  • Considering ballet as a professional career

  • Able to commit to a rigorous training schedule

  • Ready for detailed corrections and artistic coaching
